  Authentic. It feels like a street corner eatery in Chicago. Tons of Chicago themed deco. A couple TVs with sports on.
  
  I ate a Chicago dog. It was fresh, homemade, perfect. I also ate, don't judge me, and cheesesteak. Same applies as the dog.
  
  Service was good. Nice lady at counter. She brings food to your table after ordering.
  
  No beer. Get drunk before or after.

  This place is definitely a hidden gem. Very surprised and almost disappointed that how humble they are aboit their food does them no justice with competition that is no where near this good but just have a marketing plan... Don't make judgements just because it looks small divey and not lined up with faux marble tables for your Instagram posts.
  
  I pass by this little shop everyday and finally had the space in my diet routine to give it a try. There's tons of options but out of cravings and interest in it's modest description, I got the Beef and Italian Sausage sandwich. Surprise! We're not talk about a mere Subway sandwich here. This thing is a behemoth, and I was not expecting it. We're talking big and whole Italian juicy sausage that is when bitten you can taste and see all the whole fresh spices, like fennel, staring right out at you. Juices drooling out onto bun. The sausage sits on the bottom of a huge pile of thinly sliced fresh beef. So much of the beef, I had no idea there waa the sausage at the bottom! (See picture) The celery, peppers pickled were perfect pickled - they're obviously homemade too, not too sour to destroy the sandwich. The sandwich, during to-go, comes in a temperature insulated wrapper. Obviously, this food is made with love and care peeps! The parmesan fries were not the type where you shake on store bought cheese. The crispy fries, as the cheese melts over, can be described as twice fried  perhaps with actual seasoning! (Thank goodness finally) Think of crispy curly fries crispy level and seasoning level but with parmesan or what ever topping you wish!
  
  People are extremely nice, local and express genuine interest for you to have a good meal. Didn't felt like another customer at all. She bid me thanks to giving them and try and hopefully to come back soon and oh, I will.

  This place is pretty good but also weird. The cashier seems disappointed if you don't order a lot. Sorry! I'm on a budget . They control the napkins like Subway. They lock their bathroom doors like a gas station, you have to ask for a key. The Chicago dog I got this time was a little soggy . The buns and franks are delicious . I had an Italian beef here that was out of this world! They used to have pizza, may still do, best avoided. The chili they use is delicious. Maybe homemade. Got some spice to it . Better than any chili I've got out of a can.

  Didn't get to eat here but I know the food is good. Called at 7:45, they close at 8:00pm. They said they "don't take orders 30 mins before close" couldn't order take out. Very disappointed! Guess on a Saturday night they have places to be. Maybe they should say they close at 7:30 and not at 8:00pm. So bummed!

  Love this place!!  The owners are so nice and polite!  They have a sign posted explaining that it's not a fast food place...all the food is made to order and I'm here to tell ya it comes out hot and fresh. Excellent Chicago Dogs made with all 100% Vienna Beef.  The Chicago Dog buns are really soft and fresh with a poppy seed topping. We also ordered the Hatch Chili cheese fries and onion rings. All was fantastic, fresh and very good.
  If you haven't tried Lucky's yet give it a shot for a fun place to have a great meal and relax. Decor is fun with a lot to look at and the atmosphere is energetic, in diner style.
  The restaurant itself is clean and tidy. Menu is easy to read and prices are very affordable.
